I think its neat that he revived this and then took his own advice and fixed his link . I want to see more ancient trem stuff!

Me too, absolutely. I've only been playing since standalone and it's really very cool to see how far things have come during the phases I wasn't here for.

An old gun that was replaced by the vastly superior guns in the game now.

Believe it or not an off the wall idea for the Overmind. The idea was this hovering squid/alien type thing. It had a few shader effects on it that made the geometry pulse.

I believe this guy was an early concept for the granger I did. I think...

I personally like this OM the best: http://bobbin.vilkacis.net/3D/overmind.html

If anyone has the models for any of these rejects, I'd appreciate them...especially that pimp gun.

I'm guessing it's overflow, because he seems to have arachnid in his portfolio.

That OM is really, really cool.

OK, so those things are arms, the long forward-pointing things are legs... but what I'm worried about is what's between them.

Hmm... do the models for these weapons and critters still exist? And what is the liscence on them?

I could imagine that putting the models somewhere on the 'net with a CC liscence could be useful for other opensource projects...
edit: is there also some archive of old stuff available somewhere? Being a player from after the Standalone release is kind of meh. :P

Looking at screenshots of Arachnid 2 on his webpage, I guess it's Overflow.
If my answer to your problem doesn't seem helpful, it means I won't help you until you show some effort to fix your problem yourself!
1.2.0 release's been delayed for 5:48:00 already because of stupid questions.
