Problem with doors...i think

Hi all i do my first map and when i make a wall and i use it with "func_door" i think that i create a door.
But i have an error when compiling:



How can i resolve it?

Your entire wall is a door.
Doors don't count as structural brushes per say, so the map leaks.
Therefore, to fix the leak, you need to have structural brushes making an enclosure on the other side of the door.

Hello... Are you going to walk through that door out of your map.. don't think so. Than make something on the other side.  ::)

Oh, one tip I have though, try not to make badly textured and badly lit boxmaps.

Archangel isn't afraid to speak his mind (and ours) most times.

The maps is a little less than what I had the first time I tried my hand at mapping. Keep it up though, I'm sure you will achieve at least something decent.

I do something decent, but the photo that i post was only the beginning of the map of course.
Now i do all, but the door...same problem.
Sry i'm a n00b for maps...
Anyway i do func_door on the two side of the door but only when i "press" these sides the door open, well...not open.
Because i listen the sound of the door open but only the two sides open.
Can you help me? thx.

P.S= Without tremmapping, is there a tutorial that explain well how to do doors in trem?

Anyway in the entities menu i selected func_door and i put Key: angle    Value: -1 ; Key: speed   Value: 100 ; Key: wait    Value: 2

I commited an error there or maybe is in the construction of the door? Looke at the image and pls help me.

Entities must be sealed off from void with structural brushes. Doors and the node are entities, the red line shows how an entity can get to void.

Hi all sry for my incompetence in mapping but i have to ask you another question.
I make a stage door. I make the door normal and i use a trigger_stage to open it at human stage 2.
But when i try the map the door doesn't open.
These are my configuration in GTKRadiant:

How can i solve the problem?

Setting g_humanstage 1 (stage 2) does not trigger stuff. Use g_humanstage2threshold 0.
