Overmind revisited

Okay, here is my idea:

Humans are mechanic, aliens are organic.
The problem with this is that the Overmind isn't as organic as the Reactor is mechanic.

Then I was thinking and found a simple way to bring more life to the Overmind.

Then I modeled a demo model of it with a few variations, just to show you my idea.



Yes, the main modification is that the Overmind has a big eye.

There could be some interesting animations to it also, like when it is being built its eye is shut but when it has awaken it opens its eye.

And maybe if it is possible build in a tracker to make him stare at humans.
It would be so cool and creepy also.

That om, up from my post, looks too much like female, ell I guess you know why... The idea from a big eye-thing is great, alltouht oriinal idea is a bit crapy. The om right now looks "good" and evil in same time, the one you draw looks too "huggable". Good idea 'tought.

They're just spawning structures, if they were real eggs they'd hatch when a player was created and be no more.

I cannot see Oli's OM, not even when I right click and such.
Basilico's OM does not look the least bit female to me, in fact, I would say it looks to be about 4 times the man that I am

Basis alien looks liek it's about to get up and start whooping butt, eating bsuits for breakfast.
I should look a lot more 'motherly" and caring. Fat, big stomac, etc.
Right now it looks like the adv tyrant.

It would be neat if in maybe S3 the overmind could get a better defence.. such as if a human gets too close their screen gets really dark or something.. or it shoots acid!

someone tell me; what is the functionality of om? we know reactor  supplies power necessary for structures... OM supplies blood?!
