SST seriously needs admins. But more than admins it needs patches. Everytime i play theres someone abusing a bug or map xploit.

Not counting the anti-kick cheat.
Name changing
Lack of alerts when someone is decons or kill a structure.

With so many people playing, the server needs to be a bit more strict, specially about team damage to structures (150 hp in damage and you are kicked)

It would be nice to have something that would deal with the TK problem.. i was just on one night and people were going nuts because they knew they wouldn't get kicked because every single vote got shut down within seconds.

Bad idead. That road leads the way for a new griefer tactic, and one of the worse since you get banned for it.

You have the solution in your own question : people went nuts because they knew they couldn't get vote kicked. Make sure votes work and things should be better.

if you are not a griefer
by ban i mean ban by ip not name  names are useless they dont represent a unique id however ip represents a unique id at least for a couple of hours

Sounds good... its just it got chaotic when the voting stopped and it didn't look like anyone got banned from then on... though people did continue to vote on and on... lots of votes to block..

Played on SST though today and there were a lot of people in there at it was going pretty smoothly.. lots of fun!

I'm suprised more people haven't wanted to admin....

How much admining would it take to make it worthwhile to make someone an admin?.. such as.. hours per week someone would have to try to put in...
any hard set requirements?.. such as YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE... or anything?
How many slots are still left open?

No slots have been filled, and the requirements are your active. You could dissapear for 3 weeks, but as long as you resumed admin duty, its fine.
