K guys that is a LITTLE off topic.

The map is pretty much in Repatition's hands right now.

Any questions about the progress on the map, you'll have to talk to him.

that doesn't look that bad.. good luck making it balanced for Trem gameplay however

Easy fix. Make catapults outside the castle that fling aliens inside.

Well I was thinking about using the cannons that are allready outside to shoot the aliens in (might work for humans too).

(the cannons are huge to begin with)

I find it harder and harder to decide which is better, the:

Visual Feast Map - Sumptous details in which I /devmap it and wander round admiring everything, but NEVER manage to play a proper game on.

Gameplay Map - Okay visualy, give them the once through on /devmap, but are'nt astounded visually. However, the smaller size of .pk3 means that more people are willing to dl and play it, resulting in some awesome games on a few select servers.

Fun Map - Gameplay goes out the window here, but you still manage to have a long fun game, because everyone is arsing round and being arsed round by the map. Explore these on the fly as I play. Usually not very detailed, sometimes not pretty, sometimes appreciably gimmicky.


However back on topic: which of these 3 do you think your map best fits into.
My favorite player is Jesus, because everything is forgiven when he respawns.

I say it fits well for a fun map than anything else.  Main reason for that is the fact of 2 castles fighting each other.

K guys.  If rep or I cant get this map to work well have to stop progress on it and use a different one that might be eaiser.  We might use a different map called Opposing Castles, another map from Nexuiz.

I am currently getting permission to convert a map from a game called Nexuiz.

I will let you guys know when I got the permission, then (when finished) attach the .pk3.

This map is two castles protecting an very important road.

The castles are very big and also there is a lot of outdoors too.
