Obviously, a players worth is measured in more then just kills alone. I, for one, like to destroy bases more. Maybe because they don't move, not sure. But I think it would be worth while addition to the game if there was a more detailed match overview at the end of the match. Right now all you see is the amount of kills, deaths and time played. But it doesn't tell which players did the most building damage or who built the most. Here is an example of what I'm talking about-



I think it's a swell idea. It doesn't have to look like this, maybe you could use the current one but put tabs on it.

It seems a bit pointless to collect damage statistics for structures, in a game whose focus is player kills/frags. Also, not all servers have friendly fire for structures enabled. Maybe for a mod?

Builder statistics might be a nice addition though.

1) *now* you see only time played and kills
2) 1.2 "solves" this "issue" by "score" (or points) system. For killing a dretch you get 4 points, for killing OM you get (as far i remember) 72 etc. IMO it doesn't work well though, I always get more points from killwhoring as rant than sniping bases adv goon and vice versa. It's better than nothing anyway, now it will be rarer to hear "nice job killwhore#1, you won with bunch of noobs, like [your name here] in your team" after you sniped entire h base and did rc jump ending the match :P

Maybe on your server. But I've never seen this points system.

Any other statistics than winning / losing is pointless to measure in a game where you either win, lose or draw.

How about a 'fun' statistic, helping you know how much you enjoyed playing regardless of who won?

I usually measure fun in smiley faces.   :D :D :D

How about a stat for damage dealt (to foes and enemy structures only)?

eg., ttl dmg = 13,821 HP

... and perhaps total numbers of foes killed and structures destroyed would be nice... even better if organized by weapon/class/type... etc.

OK, waiting for 1.2.

I like Player1's idea, as usual. But I would like to suggest a tweak to it. You woul be given a score for damage dealt, dretches of course, would have a small bonus, 25, where as a tyrant would give a much larger bonus. My suggestion is that you lose points for damage taken. The aliens are going to get much more points, but with their healing ability, will be able to ake much more damage. Perhaps structure damage should be X2, to encourage gameplay, instad of killwhoring.
