Same QVM, Different commands at different locations
« on: August 14, 2009, 07:43:49 pm »
Hey

I compiled Slaker's qvm from source, and patched a few things. It compiles correctly, and when I test it on my local server, it shows 63 commands. When  I copy it over to my dedi, it only shows 47. I don't have any admin.dat commands and I am using the same tremded at both places. What could account for this difference in commands?

Thanks.

Do you have the same flags in the admin.dat?
It will only show commands you can use.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

there might be an older QVM somewhere overriding stuff.

@David: Even when I am console? I thought console got all the commands, no matter what.

@Arch: I have no extra vms which my have any qvm and any other qvms I have don't have the .qvm extension. I'll check anyways.

Check your Pk3's for any extra VM files, it may not be loose.

A few people like to hide those here and there.
