Yes, piggybacking another server seems like the best solution. Hopefully this works out, now we just need to find some clans who want to play. =)

It depends on what you use it for.
It depends on how you program.

So no point in debating.. but PHP is amazing if you know what your doing.. and its not hard.. www.php.net is one of the best language documentation sites i've come across..

If you guys need ideas for a system, check out the nexuiz ladder. It's based on the ELO system so the more matches are played the more accurate the scores become.
The here proposed system wouldn't equal out strong teams playing against weak teams. In ELO, teams get points by skill. If a team plays a very weak team and beats it, it only gets points propotional to the skill of the other team.

might be an idea to find a way for people to form loose groups for tourneys, as there are a bunch of good players who will never join a clan, but would enjoy a tourney.
