Thought I would give another update on the board again.
Not sure where to start..
*New build interface - looks cool now, will look even better after some new graphics get in. With each structure you'll get a little info card with description, cost and probably picture. This extends to buying/selling weapons. You get a little listing on the left with a description on your right.
*Loads more structures in the game. 7 for the aliens, 10 for the humans all skinned/animated. 2 more coming plus a bunch of tweaks in various areas.
*Extended building code. The same StarCraft/translucent build code has been extended to ceiling items. Originally these items were launched into the air, sometimes with funny results. Now they can be placed by just crawling to the area and invoking the build menu.
Bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now. Just wanted to let everyone know we are still chugging away.
Here is the latest structure in the game, the hovel. It can be built anywhere and only used by the builder. When danger approaches the builder can run into the hovel which will protect him from danger, to a limited extent. Once the hovel takes all the damage it can, it will leave the builder exposed to fend for himself.
