how do I convert Maya autodesk (by) into tremulous files?

First of all, there is now a section for models, even, GASP one for modeling questions.

Secondly, you need to convert into .md3. See if there is an export in Maya for that. If there is not, search around Maya community sites and google for a plugin exporter to .md3. If you still cannot find that, look for an exporter to Blender, .blend both in Maya, and if not there, then online site for Maya and on google.
