That plushy is awesome too btw! ^^
Thanks, my girlfriend will be happy when I tell her... ^^

For stop motion, I did never do that and I begin school at university on 21th so I don't think I'll have the time to do so.
Actually I hope I will have it to being able to show you at least a goon. Rant will be a real matter because of colour, but maybe, if we are lucky... x)
Oh, I didn't noticed the cade was missing too. I'm also planning to make a jetpack. =)

See you soon with new pics, still doesn't have much time today, and wont have more tomorrow, erf... x)

bb guys, thank you for your comments! =)

Hi all
I finally got time to take one pic!
You can see the hive, jetpack, booster, modified tube/OM/RC/DC, and also Goon' prototype v0.1.
I'm far not happy with this goon version, i think proportions are bad (goon is too small), and the fore legs are not big enough, but that's a first try, better coming soon if I got time.

I'm verry happy to see you like my creations, but I'm not sure I will be able to update anything soon.
As I have already said somewhere in this topic, I'm going to University on Sunday evening.
I will only have week-ends to work on LEGO Tremulous, and I must see my girlfriend too, it's the most important.
I really don't know what will happen at University, if I will have enough time to play Trem etc... So I really can't promise you there will be updates.
BUT if I have the time on week-ends, you can be sure there will be updates because I'm still not happy with some of the mocs (especially the goon which is far from being final version).
See you next week-end I hope!

Ok Ok, I've managed to give you a correct goon today.
I've uploaded five pics featuring goon v1.0. (earlier goon's pic was v0.1)
You can also see a quickly made barricade.
For me now, the goon is ok. If you see something wrong, tell me, I'll try to correct it when I got time.

Still to do:
- Tyrant
- Hovel (not sure I wille make it)

Do I forget something?

you should buy a butt load of LEGOS and re-create ATCS with legos lol. make it open room so we could see inside bases though. that'd be kamahamacool times ten.

Lol that's what I wanted to do, but it's impossible to buy such a box of LEGO.
I won't buy 10000 parts of all colors and all shapes to use only 200 grey plates... x)

Awsomeness!  ;) great job, you must have quite a lego collection to have all the right colors.

Also, if you don't mind the annoying software, you can build things in your computer, and then order all the parts that you used online: http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/About.aspx

LEGO Digital Designer does not have all the existing lego pieces.
Anyway, I use non-standard ways to assemble pieces.
Look at basi's legs for exemple. LEGO's software will never let you do that.
(I'm not even sure skeleton's arm is a part you can use in LDD)
I would be very very happy to see LDD covering ALL lego parts, even Bionicle etc... But I don't think this will ever happen... ='(

I still want to know what you think about the goon? Is it ok?

I began working on the rant this morning. I've done the leggs and a part of the body. I won't finish it for today, maybe next week. =)

>>> EDIT: I forgot to tell you I re-worked the barricade and the egg to their (I think) final version.

I loled as well, as I spent good 10 years as an official Lego addict. Some good memories. And if your girlfriend doesn't mind you sharing your time between her and Lego, then she's definitely the right kind of girlfriend! Bazi reactor attack was pure awesomeness and all models are highly recognizable and of best quality!

Hi everyone!
My studies at university took me too much time to work on the Tyrant during the year.
Now it's over and I could finish the work begun.
I updated the gallery with pictures of the rant v1 and new versions of Barricade and Egg I talked about in my last post.
Reminder, the gallery link: http://picasaweb.google.com/PhoenixOfNightfall/LEGOTremulous?feat=directlink#
I'm sure there is still much things to enchance so please comment all these!
Thank you very much!

Those are pretty nice :). I never was a HUGE lego fan, but my nephew was. A couple of times I borrowed some lego instructions of his (usually starwars) and I opened up blender. Made a bunch of peices, and built thing from the instructions. I got a kick out of doing that.

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Also I loled at family picture.

PS: In the picture "egg v2 and barricade v2", what other building is on the wall? I think its a hive, but can't tell

Do you know an easy way to insert thumbnails from my gallery in a forum post?
I'd like to put my gallery in a post instead of linking it but I don't want to add the "[img]" url for every of  the 47 photos...

I personally like it that way. Easier to browse :) You can always post 1-2 photos when you update the album, as a sneakpeak.
