Each player may only play for one team. Ip´s WILL be tracked!
Map will be ACTS
NO CHEATING/Exploits/Bugs!!
Refs will be in game
No spectators
Once you have lost your match you are out of the tournament.



This tournament IS team based. Not clan, team. So you and a couple friends can make a team, register at www.trem.arena-zone.com then join the tournament. We also have a 3v3 ladder now.

16 team limit. If we dont fill them by Wensday, the 19th we will lower the size.

Servers for it to be played on are being worked out. We will hopefully have a choice of 2-3 servers for players to AGREE on. ATM we really have no prize although if you win, i will gladly give you some webspace and a subdomain of your choice from arena-zone.com!

DONT RUSH!?!?!?!?!? i got 6 days to find a pro player , u know how rare they are? Kellar j has left mdc so this could pretty much be screwed

And another thing . i registered , entered my team and now i cant log back in. it sais i got username or password wrong but its correct . i tried revalidating but it sais no such validation code exists .

edit : i enter my player id and it still tells me to fuck off.can i hack that webpage now? :evil:

What about the server configuration? This has been discussed before in a thread concerning clanwars. Using the default config will likely not be very practical.

As far as I remember it was something like this for 3on3:

- standard build points and timers
- timelimit 30
- suddendeath 20 or 25
- password protection
- each team choses one map
- each team plays humans and aliens on each map
- total of 4 games

With 30 minutes timelimit this should be maximum of two and a half hours including little breaks between matches.
And what about available maps? Transit should be too big for a decent 3on3 whereas atcs and uncreation should be near perfect, others okay.

Most likely #db@ Andromeda will be taken down as well to be used as a server for the upcoming Tremulous League.
Things have to be worked out there, though. The server will stay online until it is needed for the league."

Just thinking about mercing which is kinda what i'm gonna try for the tourney but with limitations.

I'd think its ok if you make it so they can only merc for one team for the duration of a specific tourney.

for those not aware of it, a merc is someone who plays as part of a clan for a match without actually being part of that clan.

Just an afterthought on the merc system, would be handy to have a loosening of the rules if a team can't front the required players. As its always better to have a game than a default.

if there not on the team by playing time, they cant play. you can have a 10 player team though.

Building FFire what? and normal FF what? How exactly will euro and us server thingie work? Who and how will decide where we play when one team is US based and other is civiliz^^^^ Euro ?

Building FF is where shots only damage buildings, I think its the default setting. normal friendly fire is where you can kill anyone(bad news for goons).

If by 4 games i'm assuming they play each side twice, then we can have 2 games on a US server and 2 on a Euro server.
