Alright, now that's something I can call a proper Trem movie.

The one thing that bothered me was that in the intro you maxed out the music. I had to turn it down a lot and I think it still topped up.

Kudos for the special effects, for the choice of music pieces and tying them with the action, esp. for the rhythmical chomp-chomp-chomp or MD/shotgun fire. Nice to see a Trem movie where you can actually see something. Nice to see high quality video. Loved the combination of fast- and slow-paced scenes.

Keep it short and sweet, that's what I always say. Can't wait for the next one.

BTW, in this one it says it's the 2nd one, where's the 1st?
New to Tremulous? Look up the Wraths Newbie Server in the in-game server list.

Won't the other people's videos have different HUDs (not just text and crosshairs) not to mention different graphics styles, setting etc. I guess it's not a big deal, but it might look weird.

He's asking for demos. Demos will only ever show your HUD. You can also turn all that stuff off with 'cg_draw2d 0'.

Good.
BUT!
AND ITS A BIG BUT!

Stop using acts for your movies, it may be the most balanced map (which it isnt) but it is also one of the ugliest.

Get some arachnid one the go, or even better, some custom maps.

A few comments:

On ATCS in the halls when the human is fighting the goon and the dretches, you can see how great the lighting on that map CAN be. But, you have the brightness turned up a bit too much to make the colours really turn out nice -> that part needs to be darker.

I also don't know if the MD really sounds that "light" ingame.. It needs more bass. more BOOM. I missed the pulse rifle on a dark map. It has a very nice lighting and the sound is much more impressive compared to the MD.

Also, at the end when it says: "Play Tremulous". Maybe you should have also put in the URL: tremulous.net just below, and let it stay at that frame for 5 seconds. You could have also overlayed the youtube video with a comment box and direct link.

The basi slowly clawing away on the human on Tremor could have also been shown from the 3rd person view to make that particular seen more interesting.

You do overuse the effects section of your video cutting software a bit. I would advice to make them more spare or to follow ONE theme all in all. If you would like to make a really impressive Tremulous movie, you should come up with some sort of easily readable and well designed hud and overlay it with the video software. Of course, this means you would have to get rid of all ingame huds and it would be a shitload of work.

Anyways, you are improving and this is definitely one of the better movies about Tremulous.

Well done!
