installing custom hud on a mac

I play tremulous on a mac(PowerPC) and  was trying to install a custom hud (meisseli hud). The read-me said to go to console Type "/exec ui/meisselihud/install.cfg" and press ENTER. After typing this and pressing enter the console said "could exec ui/meisselihud/install.cfg". I am wondering if i did something wrong or if it is just custom huds won't work on my mac. If the later is the problem i would also like to know if there are any custom huds that would work on Macs

If it "could exec, than I dont see what your problem is. 

In all seriousness tho, this means you dont have a fs_base/ui/meisselihud/install.cfg (most likely you put install.cfg [and possibly other things] in the wrong place.
