[SOLVED]Server-side Demos using lakitu's qvm
« on: October 01, 2009, 03:04:48 am »
I can't seem to get server side demos to work. I load the demo using demo_play and when someone enters the server, it reloads the demo, and it goes into an infinite loop and forces me to shut down the server. Anyone know why this keeps happening?

Try to enter game first, then run demo.

Do you have correct configuration for playback (maxclients and democlients)? And you can try run demo repeatedly (10x or more) - type "demo_play name" again and again untlil you get message "demo is already playing" or similar. I did it like this :-/

Also - what qvm you using?

Yes, I have the correct configuration. I tried running the demo a couple times and it starts to keep reloading it over and over again, and doesn't stop. I'm using Lakitu7 5.5
