Problems D:
« on: October 01, 2009, 04:19:27 am »
Whenever I load up tremulous doing exactly what Im told, then it either exits it with a Error saying Tremulous is closing. If it doesnt do that it will load up to the Pig on the screen and freeze, when you move the cursor it just leaves a trail of cursors. I dont know whats hapenning but,
I have vista if that has anything to do with it.
This isnt with just one, its all the HUDs.

Well, first we need to know some things. Where did you put the files?

Ok, good. Now, the folders should look a bit like this:
Code: [Select]
- Tremulous/
- - tremulous.exe
- - manual.pdf
- - ext.

- - base/
- - - data-1.1.0.pk3
- - - map-atcs-1.1.0.pk3
- - - ext.

- - - ui/
- - - - hudfiles

So inside your "ui" folder is inside the "base" folder that is inside the "Tremulous" folder.

What also could help us is if you tell us what hud you are using.

Also, it might be wise to delete your autogen.cfg which is located inside your Application Data folder.
By doing this you will force the game to use the default settings.

well, it should be in:

(Windows XP)
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous\base

(Or if you are using Vista/7)
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Tremulous\base

These files could be hidden. If they are, then go to:
"Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files and folders."

I don't know the location of the autogen.cfg in the other OS's, but I'm sure you will be able to find it using the search option.
