Map Storage Beta 2

This is my first map, still very low detail, but I feel at this point it's at least playable. Below is a link to the video, I'll get some screenshots up when I have the chance along with the actual .pk3 (ran into some trouble compiling). Any feedback is appreciated.

i've seen the video. It seems like 1-way-map. IMO make a sub-way or a upper level.

I will add a few other levels to it eventually, at this point I'm just going for a very basic layout, each room having at least two entrances, something that provides both a human and alien base location, and room to fight. I'm hoping in the long run to have about three levels and as I said before a lot more detail.

Looks not so bad as I expected. The rooms are pretty boxy and a lot of the rooms look the same, but at least you have decent lighting and some detaills. Good work.

Looks great for a first map.
I noticed that the crate edges have a fit crate texture on them, maybe texture them with a better trim/base.  I'm not a big fan of the door textures, try messing with the textures on them more, maybe clip the edges and stuff.  The hallways seem a bit bland, though I'm glad you have trims, but needs more floor and ceiling trim, also clipping the walls like /  \ can look nice, and adds a great touch of sci-fi.  Try cutting back on your use of cyb0rpipes; add more brush details on the ceiling to break it up.  The floor also could use more details etc.  Nice use of pipes, though you still need to curve them (never enuf pipespam <3taiyo), try taking a look at some tutorials to understand how to use the vertex tool.

Anyways, good work, and look forward to the release. :)

Thanks, actually have been working on the pipe curving, and I'll be making it a more prominant feature in the next release, just been having a problem with the second row of vertexes snapping to the grid half way between points resulting in a lump on the upper part of the pipe, is there a way to fix that? Also was wondering if anyone had a link to a tutorial regarding wire/cables, hanging lights, and something on trim because I'm pretty sure I did the trim wrong. Anyway, thank you all for the feedback, I really appreciate it :)

Edit, figured out the problem with the pipe bending so that's one more thing I can check off the list.
