ok i've been having trouble with my server, i've made servers before, and i did it the same way this time, BUT this time when i run it, it opens the game and makes me the console, but the console isn't suppost to be a player.....so it's like messed up

HUH?!?! This FAQ needs some updates (it should tell to run trem with +set r_mode 1, change autogen.cfg or something). Also

Note:  ATI's Windows Vista Beta 2 drivers DO NOT INCLUDE OPEN GL.  There is currently no known work around until ATI updates their drivers with open gl support.

yeah, the FAQ needs a rewrite but the people who should be doing it (me among others>.>) are busy.

I didn't understand that last part. Anyways, i think you meant the background picture is screwed up. Try re-downloading trem, and re-installing it. Errors can happen when transfering data.

I'm wondering, what happened to the unofficial MAC OS trem download link? It doesn't exist anymore, directs you to a non-existing page. The Tremulous i want is 1.1 for Mac.

The build may be on the sourceforge page somewhere.  If not, compile it yourself, it isn't overly difficult.
