I'm having this problem. I did use search, but my post was split off from the only topic there was, and there was no viable solution in that topic.

ANYWAY, I'm running a server using the MG dedicated server binary and the old @Hunt QVM (because it's win, no matter how old it is). Every time I try to connect (via LAN), it just sits there, awaiting challenge. It starts counting at me, which I do not like.

Client console returns nothing. Server console only has "Client 0 connected with challenge ping 0", then challenge ping 3000, then 6000, so on so on so forth. I don't even have a max ping variable set. If this is the problem, I'll set the min and max pings to something (if you tell me what the CVars are, I don't remember them, and I'm running fresh from a new config).
