I had this idea about giving both the humans and aliens a building. For humans kind of factory and for aliens kind of alien tree. These buildings would slowly produce resources with the help of teleportation, nanoprobes, dimensional warpholes and solar panels. Multiple buildings would be cumulative. These resources would be distrubuted round-robin ro the players on that team, allowing humans to buy stuf and aliens to evolve without aid of human body. Their resource producing would be really low, a lot lower than simply going out and killing stuf. These buildings would be easily destroyed and would take some time to get to full resource producing potential.
The effects of this, would be:
1. Speed things up a little.
2. Add strategic decision if you want more resource producers or more defense.
3. Help "bad" players to not walk around getting their buds kicked, while never getting enough corpses to get something good.
4. "Good" players can still get more resources than "bad" players and feel superior to them.
5. Stop starvation camping an enemy to death.
6. Prevent camping, because the enemy team can start converting defense to resource producers to help get a really big attack going. And because these building are easy destroyable and take time to get to full potential, being attacked isn't nice because you run the risk of losing these valuable buildings.
Any comments anyone.
