Seeking a diagnostics on an unfortunate error
« on: November 14, 2009, 04:55:57 am »
I had just recently downloaded a new client, and thankfuly it worked. I found the long lost tremulous server that was not in the local folder, with all the required files (aside from the ones that were not there). Now after following the guild closely, and running the tremserver command, the error was this:

Although it seems like i would have had an ass load to go over, I have pinpointed the problem. "ERROR: G_ParseSpawnVars: found  when expecting {"  Now the problem is that I have no idea what the G_ParseSpawnVars are. If i could seek some feedback to what this is, you would have made my day. And after finding the TGP movie finally, i don't think anything can ruin it, only get better!

Match your VMs and Tremded; also, try searching, this is a common error.
