Click the folder labeled win32
download the file called tremulous.exe
replace your current(the one that was created on install) tremulous.exe with that one.

You're done!

This server is no longer compatible with 1.1.0 clients. You will need a client binary compiled from svn 1048 or newer. Here are step by step instructions:
Make a new folder called TremulousTest
Make a new folder called "base" in TremulousTest
Copy data-1.1.0.pk3 from your existing Tremulous 1.1.0 installation folder into TremulousTest/base/.
Download these two files and also put them into TremulousTest/base/ (vms-1.1.1.pk3 and data-1.1.1.pk3)
Copy map pk3 files from your existing Tremulous 1.1.0 install into TremulousTest/base/.
Copy the client binary for your operating system into TremulousTest/ and run it. (Linux, Windows, Mac OS X)
If you're using Windows, you will also need to put SDL.dll in TremulousTest/
NOTE #1: Do NOT try to skip these steps by copying entire folders around. You WILL copy files you do not want.

NOTE #2: These binaries WILL NOT use files in your "Home Folder". They are built specifically for testing and will only look for data files under the folder that holds the binary.

NOTE #3: These binaries default to turning cl_allowDownload ON

This page is obviously old and outdated; It is left here for archival purposes only. I do not recommend using these binary files.

That's what everyone uses to absolve themselves of all blame if something goes wrong.

I'm guessing that you just downloaded the tremulous.exe file to your Desktop instead of overwriting tremulous.exe.

Oh dear.

Do what tjw said, and overwrite tremulous.exe in your base folder, which BTW, should be in Program Files, not your desktop.

You can try this installer if you're still having trouble. It should automatically install it to program files.
