Server up but no commands?!

Hello guys...
Today i tested to make a server. At first i made it at windows and it was realy realy easy... All worked perfect!
But my Internet is to slow and the server was laggy so i put it up at my linux vroot server.
i followed the tutorial http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=8707.0
Server is online and i can join.... But i cant use any kind of commands!!!
i tryied !help in console but nothing work... I tried it in game but same...

Maybe it is my game.qvm?
I dont use the default because of the commands.. (i tested the qvm on windows and it work great!)

Pls help me and if it is the qvm, could you give me a good for linux with a lot of commands?

If your running a 1.2 beta server, the game.qvm packed with it comes with hardly any commands, and they all start with / (ie /adminhelp, /listplayers, ect).  If your trying to run a 1.1 server, try using the qvm found here(5.50).

Thanks but it still dont work... Noe the server dont start anymore =(
I think i need a newer tremded but i only got some for windows?!

Edit: Ok, i tried a new tremded.x86 and a new game.qvm but i got this error:

recursive error after: G_ParseSpawnVars: found  when expecting {

I googled it and it says that the game.qvm and the treded.x86 not compatible.
Can anyone link me 2 compatible files with lot of good commands?

You should use Lakitu 7's qvm(Direct Download).
You should also use the standard tremed from here (Direct Download).

Where did you put the newly downloaded tremded and game.qvm?
The tremded should go into "/usr/local/games/tremulous/"
and your game.qvm should go into "[UserName]/.tremulous/base/vm/"

I just lightly skimmed this but what OS are you using?  I had a CentOS server and I had to have BOFH compile the tremded and the qvm for me because of outdated C libraries.  You might have to get the source for the qvm/tremded then compile them yourself on the server.

I think thats the first time we agree on something.

Make a new user for each server and make that users only purpose to run the server IMO.
