Actually Vader would presumably be insulated and would receive no ill-effects from his bolts of lightning. It would be a fairly straightforward matter to shield any vital structures of Vader's makeup from static discharge and he would in all likeliness be able to project "bolts" of electricity from the end of his arms relative to the storage capacities of his internal energy source and the output abilities of whatever generator he has on board without receiving any backwash of self-shock. Why do you ask?
