Crow bars and other ideas

I want crow bars in tremulous they'd make a good melee weapon, and for the next tremulous to be in the gldsource engine (half life 2 engine0 and have gmod for tremulous as well (garry's mod how you can spawn ragdoll models and make your own buildings in the game). XD

All of those would probably be fun.

Of course they are all (well not really the crowbar) a LOT of work, so unless you have a team of dedicated, talented modders, don't hold your breath.

Also, a crowbar wouldn't do much against a several ton tyrant. While you might be able to smash a dretch or two with it, thats about all it would be good for. Most other aliens would just turn around and bash your brains in.

I forgot to say source engine not gldsource silly me (source engine is half life engine) goldsource is a modified quake 1&2 engine for half life 1

also why don't the devs improve the water quality (like the source engine) I just wish the source engine will work we'll with my intel (R) 82845G graphics (16MB)

Now, I know this thread isn't new, but I'm seeing a lot of things like this.
I want to stress to anyone who sees this, and really anyone who gives feedback:
TREMULOUS IS NOT OTHER GAMES.

TREMULOUS IS NOT HALF LIFE.
No, no crowbars, no headcrabs, no gravity gun (well, besides that one mod).
Tremulous does not and will not run on Source, unless Steam all off a sudden open-sources it and makes it cross-platform.

TREMULOUS IS NOT HALO.
No, nobody is going to add vehicles.
Nope, no gravity hammer.
No, there will not be those alien things that take over dead human bodies.

TREMULOUS IS NOT TUROK/ARENA SHOOTER GAME/ETC.
No, we're not going to straight rip that effect.
No, that original mechanic of another game is not going to be straight ripped into Tremulous.
No, no, no.

TREMULOUS IS TREMULOUS.
Now that we're past what Tremulous is not, we're to things that Tremulous is.
It is its own game, and should have its own gameplay.
Be original, think for more than five minutes.

So, in conclusion, please stop posting about things that should be ripped from other games and just try to think of something that would make this game its own.

Secret blade on your finger so you can commit suicide faster than /kill when your the last naked human and all of the aliens are rushing the vent you're hiding in; so yeah, that could potentially be useful
