Opinion and question
« on: December 30, 2009, 10:28:49 am »
OK more and more people starting play GPP so games in style like 13 against 13 in each team are not so rare now. As Alien player i realize little problem (lack of skill here). When game big like this start only thing that humans needs to do is separate into groups of 4-5 hummies and advance forward. front group advance, back covers them by sniping from last door and after the front group gets to the end of hallway (corridor or some other space) back group advance too. Even if hummies dint use this strategy and just stack together (with makes them unable to dodge and move properly) in big games 10 stacked players have really scary firepower so get to them for close combat is nearly impossible. Obviously aliens can try break the group by storm over them but for the cost of many dead on their side (they just feed). So someone who knows some team alien strategy how to effectively breaking big human groups in S1 and S2?? (and pls dont try to tell me: Use mara zap, first, its little hard to hit moving target when u are pushed to bounce like frog by iron rain around and second Mara has relay hi peak of his jump now, so he is sometimes just practise target better then unhitable marauder)

Go and eat their now-empty base?

Flank them?  With the long wind up it's really easy now for dretches to jump in-base turrets, head out the other way, and hit them from behind.

If they are good and you can't get past them simply let them come to you. It's an age old strategy, but the further away from their base, the harder it becomes for them to survive.

Of course, this could easily backfire on you if they start being able to destroy your base.
