Effective [H] Base on a Map which I forgot the name of

I don't know the name of this map, because I forgot what it was when I took these screenshots.

But here's a base that will not get humped by any alien if there's at least a human to watch over it. Note: It requires S2 to be at full potency.

As you can see below, the reactor has been moved to the corner to allow a safer and a more secure spot. The armoury is in the corner, and two spawns are next to the reactor. The defence computer is also in a safe spot. On top are two turrets to get rid of crawlers (top right).


Here we see a semi-circle of turrets. Very effective to lead idiotic aliens into the base. While getting raped by gunfire. Three effective forcefields, which keep aliens out. Three are REQUIRED if you want NO holes in which any alien can sneak through. The top, as said in the above picture, is guarded by two turrets which help with support-fire for any humans. Also an effective manoeuvre.

Ok... TremX (or mod thereof) on some (probably unbalanced) custom map.

I guess this will help somepeople though.

Nah it works on other places, u just have no force fields. But still an effective design!

I bet I could easily hop the armory with even normal goon, and the first rets fail if aliens just attack them 1 by 1. The armory belongs behind the reactor. With my (more dead) goon on top of it.

Get a goon, pounce those two wall rets, then pounce over up past the arm past the last ret, use that ret to guard yourself from the other rets, then take out the two remaining inside rets that are in fire range and the nodes/arm are both fair game.  1-2 goons easy even with a camper(unless the camper is really good or standing on the wall defending the rets)

Force fields can be brought down by pressing 'q' when you are near them.
