Lag spikes

I have  fast internet so my ping stays around 50 when I'm on the main server but when I play aliens and I'll  get close to a humans and rush at him it lags and I warp to next spot and get killed but Why does it spike like this?

First off, I don't think that's Lag, that low FPS. I get that alot too. Second off, I can only suggest lowering you graphics setting, and not running so many applications in back of trem. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

To make sure whether it is lag or low fps, use "/cg_drawfps 1" and "/cg_lagometer 1".
