running server.cfg

can some 1 tell me how to make a server using the server.cfg, cose ive edited it (power etc) but i cant get it to work when i host. ive looked on the fourms and it doesnt look like any ones asked this question before.

If you're using windows:

start-run-cmd

then:

cd x:\NameOfDirectory
then:
tremulous.exe +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg

running a dedicated server auto execs Server.cfg as far as i know

but why is it that my build points dont change unless i type the code in while playing the game? the code is the same as the one in the server file.

For some strange reason BP's have to be set each map, using the map config stuffs.
