Skill
1. Zilla - I'm sticking with this simply because Zilla scrimmed so many times, yet never showed evidence that we we the best clan. Also, the clan came back a second time, with half of the people who were on the roster of the original, and managed to dominate AA in a scrim, which is damn impressive for the way AA was doing.
2. Battle Turtles - Jit is simply a master of strategy at his best. Though he didn't showcase it during his leading of scrims in the second SGA, he did during Turtles. Props to him for doing so well with a roster that had none of the best players at the time. This clan would've become a true force of domination had it stuck around.
3. Original NT - We pretty much ran over everyone for the short time we were around, until we scrimmed Wolf clan and BodyOrgan got us good for our first loss.
4. & - We're inconsistent right now, based on both activity and other conditions, but I have to say that at our best with an active lineup, there's really nothing around anymore that's capable of putting us down.
5. AA - As many times as I raged over the annoying fucked up super-conservative anything-to-win style of play, I will give them the credit they deserve. No one could consistently compete with AA for a long time. However, when they did lose, as they did from time to time, they lost pretty badly.
6. Second Zubs - It was a lineup of individual skill that rivaled the one seen in Zilla. Had they become more active and developed a proper style to scrim with, they would've become number one without a doubt. Unfortunately, this never arose, and I'm disappointed because I would've liked to see such a good group of players get to that point.
7. >< - They're not as good as they used to be. But their seamless teamwork is impressive, though simple.
8. {V} - NT barely defeated the original {V} while they were using freewheeling strategies to overwhelm with individual efforts. Also seen at points during the second run, it was by far the most impressive display of using individual skill to win scrims, as few as there were.
9. Second SGA - I don't feel that the original SGA is very fitting to this list, despite the skill of the players. I feel they were from a period of Tremulous that was under conditions that would not provide for comparison to anything after the first quarter of '07. However, the second SGA was a force to be reckoned with, though NT beat them in the only scrim between the two. The individual talent was nothing short of amazing, however.
10. foe - Had foe scrimmed much, they would've been a damn good opponent for Zilla. Dima, LeStrange, Yarou, Maniac, Yahoo, and some other names (Tremma, though he left long before the clan died off). All of those names were some of the best individual talents around at the time, and it was a force that could've held its own against Zilla if Smokey wasn't a faggot about scrimming Yarou's clans.
Atmosphere
1. NT - I may be biased because I founded and led it, but fuck you if you can tell me we didn't have some damn good laughs. I can recall maybe three times where there was any real opposition between members, and that's over a total of 18 or so months of being alive. This clan was so fun to be in, that it distracted me from my "goal" of making a dominant competitive clan completely, or at least took it out of being a true goal. Only after so long did I decide I wanted that goal back.
2. Zilla - Smokey
3. SGA - I only knew the second one. But even then, they were just fucking cool. End of story.
4. CU - These guys pretty much did nothing and most said little if I remember them all right, but they still managed to be awesome.
5. Original AoD - There was such a huge variation of personalities, yet it worked. That's an accomplishment for Ozzy.
6. STK - Tk created a good clan to be in, even if there was 50 of us and most of us were terrible players.
7. Rev - I swear half of them were retarded at the time, but maybe that helps a little. Plus, Shadow basically gave rights to Zirra to use Rev members in scrims freely, as though they were in Zirra. And they didn't care.
8. O - I personally didn't like where the clan was going. I wasn't getting the results I wanted myself. But if you look at the majority of the others who joined, they were happy with the clan the way it was, despite countless scrim losses.
9. AA - They really didn't say much, but the majority of its members were pretty cool people. Just fun to be around sometimes.
10. Z|R - These guys didn't say or do much really. But you could never say anything bad about them...the only member who I'd have anything negative to say about was Dragula because he acted like he was 7 at the time.
