Big ol' White screen :\

decided to reinstall trem but when i reinstalled it and ran it, i just got a white screen.
The Error thingy looks something like this..

recursive error after: ^3menu file not found: ui/menus.cfg, using default

this has been my first time trying to reinstall or play tremulous since the 1.2 preview came out.
i recently got a new monitor too, if that means anything.

thats a problem with your HUD files luigi, at least i think :s. if you have a custom HUD somewhere in your comp, find it and reinstall it.

Or remove it, as none of the 1.1 huds work with 1.2.

When you reinstalled, did you keep the autogen.cfg? Because if you used a custom HUD it's location will be stored there, and if reinstall didn't include the HUD files, it won't find them. You should be able to fix it by running trem with +reset cg_hudfiles +reset ui_menufiles.

would uninstalling and deleting the hud, then reinstalling work?

what are you trying to play luigi? 1.2 or 1.1?

if you are playing 1.2 delete your autogen and dont run the HUD because it isnt compatible. if its 1.1 yeah delete it and reinstall
