How would I get tremulous to conntect to a mysql server?

Well, is it possible? I wanted to create a mod that allows people to login and keeps track of kill and deaths.

yes, why not
just send log file directly to your process, parse it and throw stuff to the database

I have not yet done any research on this, but maybe one of the Q3 logfile parsers could work for tremulous as well.
I remember one of those tools, which used to generate static HTML files out of the logfiles, but i do not remember its name atm.
If you know more, please share it. :)
