There is a Big Problem in our tremulous community, and it seems that no one is talking about it.
As Trem's community turns it’s gaze over to other less skilled clans, single handedly taking on the whimpiest of clans, a new threat emerges from the ashes of our old enemy, Xenocide.
If you’ve forgoten about what happened to the Evil Clan that was the Xenocide, heres a history lesson for you. It alienated itself from Trem, and climbed into a massive isolation.
Sound familiar? it should, it’s whats happening to clans right now. As we turn a record low of players online at any given time, scriming to piss off our friends, sliping into dictaitorship, a new threat looms on the horizon.
the threat? Freak.
thats right, the evil player is re-birthing from the grave, Freak, a former 1.1 heavy back in the days of the original Trem, has forged clan alliances, formed his own clan, and now has gained such a solid player base for his clan that he likely has the power to rewrite the rules of scrimming at his will.
Well should we be afraid? What was the platform his new Clan, United Players, ran on?
“The Leader is the Clan.” Oops, not so much like the new, democratic clans.

In fact, the two pro-Democracy clans will soon have less than 5 percent of the player total of Players United. A side-effect of J-cool’s community-alienating brand of recruitment. Democracy and things related to Tremous are not so good in people’s mind as they once were.
J-cool’s publicly announced strategy was to "Shock and awe" players into fearful submission with an awesome display of Xenocide's power in Tremulous. I should almost start laughing.
That is how bullies operate however, attack the weak to try and create the illusion of toughness. But it is obvious to anyone truly strong and courageous the cowardice of such ploys.
It’s almost sad when you think about it.
