tremulous wont play the map [SOLVED]

okay so i am on a mac using netradiant i compiled my map using that with the option build>final (not final[test settings]) and in my base folder i have the files pop.bak pop.bsp pop.map pop.prt pop.srf. i open up tremulous and open console and type

/sv_pure 0
/devmap pop

it tells me it cannot find pop.bsp so what am i doing wrong?

Put them in ~/base/maps.

done that now whenever i open it up the map will load but then tremulous will close. what do i need to do now?

"tremulous will close" as in quit or just go to main menu? And do you ever see the map itself? Did you place info_player_intermission entity anywhere in the map?

tremulous quits. never see the map quits as soon as it is finished loading. no i did not place info_player_intermission entity anywhere should i have and what is it?

nevermind i worked out what it is and placed it and it worked but humans won instantly so i thought its because there were no spawns and placed some but now it goes back to quiting. could it be because the spawns dont fit in the room?

once again nevermind i worked it out and i got my first map working =] thanks for your help guys
