pointer disappears after failed server join

Whenever I try to join a server with a map I don't have, it gives the regular message that I don't have the map, but then the pointer disappears when I get back to the main menu. I have to use TAB to maneuver to the quit button, and restart, since you can't TAB down the server list. Is this an old issue? Does it happen to anyone else? Solution mb?

I think that it's a bug and should be fixed. But you should really try updating your drivers first...

its helpful that everything is fixed in SVN..... really nice... helps everyone out a lot... obviously fixing old bugs in the SVN deals with this problem..

You can hit alt + enter or join a game to fix it.

As a work around until the new version, you can set the ui_loading cvar to 0 to get the cursor back, when this problem occurs.
