Quick Question about Building.
« on: May 15, 2010, 05:35:29 am »
How do you alter a server's build time?

Say I started a new server. What would be the command? I searched all the /g_ commands, but none came up about build time.

Also looked in FAQ's, most threads, etc. but still couldn't find it.

Do I need a special QvM?

Anyways, thanks in advance.

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum. There's no real "help" section.)

Yes,

In example, try dQVM

It has instantbuild ;)

I put in in my vm folder. But it doesn't work?

It's in /base/vm/game.qvm

Nothing else in there. I try to make a test server, do !help, \rconpassword, !setlevel, etc. But it says "unknown command !setlevel"

Err, how do I fix this?

Check and make sure dQVM is actually being loaded. I think it tells you what qvm is loaded with /serverstatus.

Be sure you are running it with tremded.exe/.x86.

You can use tremfusion or easy way, just http://tjw.org/tremulous/

eDIT: Oh and also, if you get it work, its g_instantBuild ; )
