1.2 Reactor fail...?

In a series of games I've been playing on 1.2 I've seen the reactor occasionally (Not rarely, but not common either) stop working. Now before you start making lame jokes that it's probably dead/we need to build a new one please for the love of god consider that the reactor

was not destroyed.

It hadn't been deconned and never rebuilt.

It was however deconned and placed in a safer section of the base, with everything still within its generator perimeter.


Inevitably the aliens wasted no time attacking the base and tearing it to shreds. Many games where the human team had the advantage, were abruptly, and absurdly, flipped on their heads. Leading to very unsatisfying games, and angry players.


I've also seen this, and have experienced this in the alien team, during one game it simply stopped working. It hadn't been deconned.




Can anyone explain the cause of the temperamental V.I.B.s? 
Filling in the gaps of absolutely everything.

It wasn't deconned when it stopped working, it was deconned earlier in the game.
It's pretty clear if you aren't being a twit about it.

And reporting it *is* the best thing to do.  If no one reports it, it can never be fixed.
