I love tremulous, but there are a few things i have to gripe about.

1. Luci jumping... It's really cheap. defeats the entire purpose of trappers on some maps. It also makes it nearly impossible for a dretch to get a hit in, which is a pain if join while in s3. It also doesn't do much damage to the humans... much less than what it does to the aliens.

2. dretch health... its a little too low. 30 or 35 would be better... or perhaps make a dretch+...

3. Not a complaint about the game, but to my alien friends GET OUT OF THE DOORWAYS!!!!!! SOME PEOPLE NEED TO GET HEALING AND ARE BEING CHASED... I die at least 5 times per game b/c of this... People coming in are more important that ppl coming out.

Luci jumping does more damage to humans in 1.2 GPP. Whenever I try it, i lose around 35 hp, if I only have light armor and a helm, and around 25 damage if I am a battlesuit. This has caused people to luci jump much less now.

Lucijumping used to be a very good part of Tremulous IMO :( It is no longer nearly as useful because of the ~75% higher self-damage.
It only makes trappers useless if your base is in a large open area, which it shouldn't be.
It didn't used to make it nearly impossible to get a hit in, I think it actually did more damage then a dretch bite. Maybe you are talking about just shooting your feet? Anyway in 1.2 luci charges slower, so that is not as much of a problem. Also you are talking about the weakest alien class against the most expensive human weapon...
Uhh lucijumping was never used to kill aliens. I assume you do mean just shooting your feet, and that was only useful against dretches and basis.

I never liked Luci jumping.

It doesn't really seem to fit the human team.

Aliens get movement tricks, not humans.  And then for hulking Bsuits to be able to bound around like that?  It's just not right.

I don't see how lucijumping is that much connected to HP. It still deals a damage that is not too much. Why I don't use it nowadays as often though is because luci takes a really long time to charge (to kill buildables), making the earlier 1.1 lucijump-nade-OM-rushes really harder. Also the longer charge means there can't be any dretches biting your legs for a longer time.
