Another brainless hater. My reply is mostly aimed at other readers, for you have no brain that could process it, as I will point out flawlessly.

I will have to say that *gasp* I prefer the original version of treecannon_b4.

The version that has been posted here is an absolute unplayable eye-sore, that could only be voted in by players who either:
  a) have not had the displeasure of playing yet, or
  b) enjoy one-letter cyan colored server names.

In future make your own map instead of butchering (and ruining) other people's work.

You are (as everyone else), of course, entitled to your opinion. So, I will not go into "radiosity bounces" etc., as "eye-sore" is entirely a question of taste. I will also not go into "unplayable", as that also is a question of taste, except if you actually meant "Tremulous matches cannot be played on that map", because that's just not true.

The claim that the map (on non-[W]onderland servers) is only (or mostly) voted for by people who haven't played it yet cannot be disproven by me, but I don't need to disprove it. You need to prove the positiv-claim. Until you have, that part of your rant is invalid.

Your jab at [W]onderland is also a question of taste. It is said that [W] is a server for people who [description of players of little or no value]. Fact: When it's morning in Europe, Wonderland has players. Other servers (like AmsterdamUnlimited, RfunserverCZ, WineBar) are still empty. When it's afternoon, the other servers have players, but Wonderland still has players, too. Maybe all those [W]-players are [whatever negative word suits your argument], but maybe they are just there to have quick and simple fun. No harm done when you die, because you don't lose evos. Buildings destroyed? No matter, just quickbuild anew, no frustrating wait time in which you are helpless until the turret is made. This experience is not given by any other server, and that's one of the reasons people play there. If you have a problem with the existence of that server, try to take it down by contacting Drazilox, who is the founder and owner of [W]onderland. If he would even react to such an outrageous demand, he might say that he would maybe kill it - but the players wouldn't want him to!

Just as anyone who likes the treecannon_b4_gmotwmod is wrong, huh?

In this very thread you find at least one example of a positive opinion regarding the mod. Further map mods were encouraged. There are three possibilities (XOR):
- Either the people who like it are wrong.
- Or you are wrong.
- Or your words don't mean what you believe they mean. In that case: Please train your communication skills in a forum of lesser quality. YouTube might suffice.

Regarding your closing statement: I can only repeat that as long as there are people who enjoy playing my map modifications, you and no one else (even not a collective effort of the makers of the original or other Tremulous maps) will be able to stop me from creating them.

For a very simple reason: You try to prohibit the source of the fun they are having. Remixing is bad, huh. Like Rock music, which is mostly made by negros, no?

Maybe it is because I am actually God, that's probably it. No, really. And whoever attacks me does attack the people, because I stand for the coexistence. [W]onderland has 10 letters in it (or 12 if you include all characters), learn to count. I clearly outlined the type people who would enjoy your hacked up version of another person's map, one of those outlined people "enjoying" your eyesore furthers the truth of my post and does not make it incorrect. Again, I am entitled to my opinion as you so thoughtfully outlined.

Comparing yourself to others in order to "prove yourself" is quite shameful. Regardless, Drazilox doesn't open up a map editor, take a shit, save it and append "_gmotwmod" for the masses to download and stab their eyes out with forks.

All this is a question of opinion. I have had people saying out of thin air that "gmotw_atcsraped" and the treecannon mod are their favorite maps.

Your statements claim objective truth, as in "whoever disagrees has an inferior mind", and this is total insanity in the face of the fact that your mind wouldn't even exist if I were not currently creating the infrastructure for it to exist. Seriously, I haven't played the map, but I have to say none of your maps I've seen screenies of look at all appealing to play for me. Does this make me a brainless hater? No, it just means I don't find your maps to be appealing looking, nor do they make me want bother downloading the pk3.

For goodness sakes, get off your High horse, and clue into the reality that you aren't god, and maybe your maps might not be the best thing in tremulous.

Ah, I remember when I used to make maps that were gimmicky, and ugly looking, but people still said that they liked them, so I considered the maps "good", or atleast, "good enough".  I would have kept making them, however, if it wasn't for this forum.  From the feedback I received here, I was encouraged to put much more effort into my maps, learn from others, and the end product always received much more praise from the community. 

So God, maker of the world, stop thinking you are the savior of Tremulous Mapping and make something worth salivating over.  Hop to it, and stop wasting your time making long, hard-to-read posts.
