screwed videos under Debian stable
« on: June 09, 2010, 06:01:55 pm »
Hi there,

I have a problem recording videos.

When I record videos (I use the Tremfusion client on a Debian stable system), The first few seconds of the resulting AVI are okay, but then something happenes, here is a screenshot.

That's what the rest of the video looks like, it's only one messed up image, and this frame is frozen. I tried various mediaplayers, various screen resolutions while recording the video, wth may be wrong???

I successfully created even lengthy videos before with the same configuration. Any hints?
I have retired from Tremulous. Definetely. If you play a game just because it has become a habit, but u'r only feeling like a kindergarten teacher - well, maybe I am just getting too old (hell, I was a teenager when DukeNukem3D was *new*) - it's probably not a bad idea to just let it be. And I do.

Don't take this personally. Have fun, guys.

I just played a demo from another guy, and making a video out of it actually seemed to work. Can it be that there are any strange commands in the demo that screws up the video?
