Demolution: R Funserver CZ, R Unlimited CZ. But we tried lock aliens and 9 humans vs 1 aliens = still no chance, aliens wins. 12 humans vs 2 aliens = same. Very unbalanced. Maybe with 0 aliens it is possible to win like humans.

You joke??? this map is hard in humans but can be win !!! after 4 or 5 match in humans we are able to win against 3 or 4 alien
ALL LEVEL HAS THEIR TRICK that i can explain you
ps: rotacak: the match in wich it was 2 alien and in wich i play, humans won !!!

TRICKS:
LEVEL 1:
-1- wait alien activate the way who get back and sprint across the way when the way has came back
-2- get ready to sprint behind the bridge, wait alien activate the press and sprint across the way immediatly when you can !!!
LEVEL 2:
-1- anticipate plateform move and have luck... (one of the bad think in this map). NB: if the bleu fields has activated: wait it go back
-2- stay behind the labyrinth and wait for stamina !!! stay behind labyrinth and try to provok alien to they activate bleu fields (or wait they activate bleu fields) and abase onself/jump according to bleufields. Now, follow near the bleu field  who are getting back (follow across the labyrinth)
-3- place you good in front of the way and jump over the peaks
LEVEL 3
-1- wait paddles has completly gone back and jump on roasting when you reach the place of change roasting (you can be crushed by paddle at this place) now go down (a quarter of the rosating) and go UP: and when you are going up you can look back and run across air (same tactik to descend in the end of paddle)
-2- provok alien to they activate lift and when it is going back you can go across the hole
LEVEL 4
-1- concentrate maximum wait alien has activated bleu bricks and find the good time (according the lifts) to sprint across the way (i find the best time for sprint across the way it's when lifts are going up) nb: wait behind each bleu bricks
LEVEL 5
-1- wait for a second player (alien can't kill you) and go on lateral lift -DON'T JUMP- when it's the good time (on the lift): run to push the little button (the 2 players have to push button at the same time to open the 2 fields in the same time): wait the good time (on the lift) and jump on the central pad who will push you to the BIG red button (notice: the 2 players don't have to survive after pushing the little red button: one players on the big red button and human win :)  )
NB: sometime the 2nd players missed the little button then don't run on the central pad...

TY for reading
NB: sorry for grammar i did'nt carful...
) and jump on the center plateform who will make you jum

Oh, my bad. But they nut pushing buttons or not paying attention or just was too kind and letting humans to pass. Also aliens have too few buttons only. Obstacles should be divided to more buttons and add delat between using it again.

I am not sure if you can pass level 2 if aliens are active, because you will be squished on moving platforms or blue wall will catch you, because you will have not enough stamina for jumps.

lol yes you're right alien was newbies and not attentive... but WE WON :p

You joke again? OK you're right again: human need a lot of luck in beginning of level 2
BUT there are tricks for stamina:
-NB before i explain you: YOU don't need to jump for reach the little barriers (sometime you reach, sometime you need to jump...)
-when you arrive after plateform: wait for stamina behind  the 2 Little barriers! EXAMPLE: an human who arrive with a little of stamina can survive the blue fields if he has immediately waited for stamina: here he are waiting, the blue fields need 1 jump for survive and 1 other when blue fields are going back !!! and when the blue fields are going back he have enough of stamina also for survive!
-now you can reach the 2 little barriers without jump or with one jump
-now you can stay behind the labyrinth and wait for stamina
-you can resume to mi first post of tricks

NB: you can also try to reach the labyrinth without wait for the alien to they activate blue fields: the player "A builder" can do it! why no you?

Ty for reading! ask me again about this map if you need!

sindarus: there is no place for waiting for stamina. You can wait on last moving platform. But Aliens will crush you. You can jump to solid ground from moving platform, but before you gain stamina, then you are already smashed by blue walls.

Sure, you can do it if aliens sleeping, but if some alien is crazy clicker, then I doubt.

if alien activate blue fields during you are on the last plateform: ok you're right it's hard and you may will die but it does'nt happen so often when Humans are many players... and if you die here, the next human behind you won't die in the same place...
i may make an explain video for this map...

If Server is crowded, and it gots some slowpokes, and especially in level 2, they're real annoyance (FUCKIN MOVE is my usual phrase in that area) when getting across the moving platforms. Someone tries to jump to other platform, other player beside blocks him, making the leaper to jump into wrong direction, causing him to die. So PLEASE: one by one jump across those moving platforms in Level 2! Don't block them!

It's all about keeping your ass on move, and timing your trap dodges. But it is just my opinion. Naturally.

Good map. Without traps its easy.
+1 from me. Very Challenging map, This is the one i like.  ;D

First trap can be jumped easily, i think it should be little harder ...

Yeah, you can jump across that trap door or slide with it to other side, it should be real fast and bit longer. And what comes to those two girder bridges, if two players doesn't sprint across it, they both fall. Died many times on that, when someone just ran the bridge....

I think it is too hard for the humans. Playing it several times on KoRx we never got passed section 2 as a group. Have checkpoints where telenodes can be built.

Also, here is a developers question. On the aliens side are those giant tvs or did you someone change the center of gravity?

Whoa lots of responses. Here we go:

@DraZiLoX:
Glad you like it. The ending appears to require 3 players at a glance, but it can be done with 2 as sinderion mentioned. You can even do it with 1 but it's insanely difficult.

The first trap was deliberately made jump-able and otherwise very easy. Think of it like a beginner's confidence boost, and a non-trap for experienced players.

@rotacak:
I always thought the blue field trap was rather easy (crouch, jump, crouch, jump, crouch)? Well in your situation make sure you have full stamina before trying this trick. Jump on the blue field when it stops near the 3 platforms. Ride the field while dodging the maze coming at you. When the fields are almost back to their start position, immediately hop off and start dodging the fields while sprinting forward (since the alien is spamming it).

Jumping from one web to the other is in fact very difficult until you master the technique. I plan to make things easier by adding teleporters where the pits of death are. sindarus' method is better than mine so I'll re-explain (his/hers is a little hard to understand). To swap webs, position yourself so you're slightly below the top of the 1st web and directly opposite the 2nd web. Then move up, do a 180 turn and sprint toward the other web (air control helps here). If you do it right you'll have made it.

@sindarus:
As long as you sprint, you never need to jump those small barriers. They're only there to stop you running over edges and prevent people from shooting you into traps.

@CorSair:
The level 1 squasher trap is easily passed by either tricking the alien into activating the trap (and sprinting through as it re-opens); or strafe jumping.

@MrFish:
They're huge screens giving a bird's eye view of the levels. If you noclip outside the map you'll see both teams are separated.

----------
General Tips:
- Good reflexes always help.
- Trick your opponent.
- Know the traps.

Humans:
- Always sprint.
- Always attempt traps with the most amount of stamina possible.
- Spread out. The more spread out you are the less likely an alien will be watching the trap you're on.
- Think outside the box. There is more than one way to tackle all the traps.
- Always look towards the web in level 3 (unless changing webs), otherwise you will fall.

Aliens:
- Can handle more than one trap at once. If you're short on players, take over some traps.
- Should use their speed to beat humans to the next trap (if you're short on players). The dragoon is the best alien for this.

I always thought the blue field trap was rather easy (crouch, jump, crouch, jump, crouch)? Well in your situation make sure you have full stamina before trying this trick.
If you are prepared and you have full stamina, then yes. But if aliens pressing buttons above moving platforms and above blue fields, then you have very little chance to gain stamina. Because you cannot wait on moving platforms, you need to jump to ground. There waiting for stamina, but is not enough time for that.

And how one human can finish level?

I think there should be this:
1) make more buttons for aliens - split traps for it etc. Aliens are bored if there is more players, because they have nothing to do.
2) make ability to build node for humans or make somewhat checkpoint. Starting always from level 1 is horrible.

BTW, did you tried this map with more players (+- 20) with non-sleeping aliens?

Anyway - its interesing map and have very nice design. I can only wish that my mission one map had same design :(

im not against lvl 2, lvl 4 or blue fields but, please:
can you make a train map: do automatic activate trap: when they are go back they instantly activated again! as alien was always pushing! can'nt it be maked easely? it would help a lot of players in humans!
(to play offline of course)

and also: give 1 or 2 min more of 25 min to humans when they are in lvl 5. because it's really boring when 2 humans are in lvl 5 but no more time for win (humans need more of 10 sec for push 2 button when platerform are away)

It's easy to make it through the blue fields. Just wait for the first one, then jump on it and ride :P

Then go out of it and just go through labyrinth... easy
