[SOLVED] Error opening map: Too many open files

So when i compile my map, i get this error

Error opening E:/Tremulous/base/maps2/boxroom.bsp: Too many open files

I use GTK-Radiant, and i also tried netradiant: same error.

Sorry i was lazy to search if theres similar problems.

Operating system limits the maximum number of opened files. You have propably exceeded that limit with some p2p downloader or other program which uses tons of files at once. Try closing the app or increasing opened files limit in system files (google how to do it).

This looks as if your shaderlist.txt is including itself recursively. The script loader usually closes any opened files immediately, but when the allocator fails to grow the script buffer because every shader script is loaded 50 times, the loader starts to leak file descriptors. Windows (well, the C library actually) allows only 512 open files, so you quickly overrun this limit. This limit is per-process (unless you're still running a DOS based Windows), so other running programs don't matter.
