SMP's horribly broken. !item is a stopgap until furnaces even work. I was hoping for this Friday's update to include working furnaces (there's mobs and actual working inventory/chests now) but furnaces are still broken.

Theres a fix on the forums for furnaces. And i swear on his recent update he fixed furnaces anyway, or does it still not work?

i play SP mostly myself too. Im currently making an epicly amazing railway system between my bases, mines etc. (i just need to find enough redstone)

Well, latest update has added working serverside inventory + chests. Furnace seems to be working properly too. 72.52.102.11:8000 if anybody's interested. :3 The regular server (without :8000) is also updated to the latest version, but still has !item and such for building.
