You changed it too big? If yes, then find your autogen.cfg and delete it.

Also, use the SEARCH TOOL or look F.A.Q.

David

autoexec should be autogen

If you don't want to lose all your settings then open the autogen.cfg and add "r_mode 4;r_width 1024;r_height 768" to the bottom of it.

my folder doesn't seem to have autoexec.cfg
iv already tried reinstalling n im still stuck with the same problem

As David said, look for autogen.cfg NOT autoexec.cfg.  Then open autogen.cfg and add "r_mode 4;r_width 1024;r_height 768" to the bottom of it.

"ChangeLog"
"Copying"
and
"GPL"

Ok, go to:
C:\users\<NAME>\appdata\local\tremulous\base
If it doesn't contain and autogen.cfg then try the normal tremulous folder, which is usually at:
C:\Program Files\Tremulous
Then go to the file "base". If there's an autogen.cfg there, fix it up as said above.

Right click on the short cut you use to start tremulous, click properties, it should have a target field saying something like "C:\Program Files\Tremulous\Tremulous.exe", add "+set r_mode 4" to the end.
It should then run at a lower res.
Probably best to change the link back after you've run it, or you'll be unable to change res in-game.

Once the game is running type "/fs_homepath" in the console to see where it has your autogen etc saved, it's always useful to know.

Demolution

I have Vista as well, and my folder can be found in Roaming instead of Local.
So: C:\Users\Demo\AppData\Roaming\Tremulous\

Cool, can you add [solved] to the title of your first post in order to help people browsing through the forum with a similar problem as you.

Thanks
