Planet Pyro
« on: August 28, 2010, 08:17:20 pm »
Planet Pyro(Still a work in progress) I worked on this for about 3 hours... But I still need too add more detail and more things too it... It is pretty big but thats what makes it cool...  After I figure out how too put my own textures in gtk radiant I will add a bunch of parked ships and stuff... Cars etc....
If you want too read my story so far on planet pyro just read this, or just skip it...     OK On planet pyro, a planet that drifted into our galaxy 100 years ago, now the year 2650, a little city that has been infested with alien creatures has closed down. Now the aliens have set up there base and there going too take over more and more cities if we dont do anything.
Years ago over 3 billion people moved from Earth because earth is crowded with people from over the years. And now they moved to planet pyro.

We need the tremulous team too come and defeat the alien life form so we can get back too our lives...
HELP!!!!

O and this hole big thing that you see is just supposed to be a Wall that protects the city  I guess. It protects the people from enemies like raiders or pirates. And this area is were the aliens have landed and have taken over.

Ummmm....
Right....

This should belong to Other Mapping Related Material....

You read this One before posting?
Even I released (not so) proper beta map, that is even playable.
Not only screenies, a .pk3, or even .zip with everything ready, okay?

Or i'm blind jerk who doesn't see download link at the moment.

needs less boxy-ness and pipes (hint use patches)

Humans base is way too open! try to shrink it down, perhaps add some boxes or debris to make it appear smaller.

perhaps it'd be best to hold off on the dev shots until you get it compiled.

*To

Just saw some mistakes you got there  ::)

I looked in this thread because it had "Planet" in it  ::)

Doesn't catch my attention, so I don't think I would be playing this if it was released xD

You spelt "to" wrong in the story. I'm not even going to comment on the map...

Take your architectural concepts, than scale them down about 100fold. Then use more than 2 different textures. Then we'll talk.
