my map i s not showing up in the maps list in game

okay so i made a map in GTKradient and put the BSP file in a zip archive and renamed the extension to a pk3 but when i look at the map list in game its not there so i cant call a vote for it to be run? any help?

You need a '.arena' file for it to show up in the list (Just look at the ATCS one). Also make sure the map is in a 'maps' folder.

Just in case you didn't know, you can also run a map via console commands. ('[wiki]map[/wiki]' and '[wiki]devmap[/wiki]')
Better yet, you can create a shortcut with launch options so your map starts up immediately.

Well that involves convincing the devs that its good enough to put on the official servers. That probably involves being a reasonably experienced mapper.

I have such thing with some maps, even they properly made and packed.Seems its Trem bug. Just call vote for your map or /devmap ur_map_name
