Or I could be completely wrong and perhaps his love for Zilla has changed and now he doesn't love it anymore. I doubt that though.

No probleme kiddy, the man will tell you. Loki was simply laughing (or pretending to) about the death of Zirra. You were probably thinking he said that because he didn't read ''loved'' well therefore he tried to correct him by remembering him it's dead, which is wrong*.

*as I said, he was simply laughing or pretending to laugh about Zirra's death, and possibly doing so because Ryanw loved zirra, so it would be against him.
