would we be able to have some novelty items


sunglasses for a dretch?

shoes for a goons feet?

a little sock for the basi's tail prehaps?

some sweet tyrant headgear?



and what about seasonal items


i for one would love to see a tyrant in a santa suit with a big ass sack on its back full of presents for the humans  :)

I had an idea for custom "tattoo" textures or colour schemes, so that people would be able to recognise players by appearance as well as name. It would add an element of realism to the game, instead of having all these cloned players.
And little shoes, wtf?

I totally agree with you there. VVoVV is the worst game since Diablo II wich was the worst game since Diablo.

Just say no to children-oriented RPG.

Would be kinda cool, sort of like emblems in Mario Kart DS (though I doubt anyone here owns that game lol), or like Counter-Strike sprays exept ON your player.

Of course, your idea will be forever condemned to flaming now, since I associated it with Counter-Strike. OMGITSRIPPINGOFFCOUNTERSTRIKE

Hmmm... custom skins?
Where's WestCoastCustoms when you need them?

Wait, they do only women and cars... So who to talk to 'pimp up my alien'?

And more important who knows how to code that into trem, so the client-client transfer will work (I will not have custom skins on or server).
I'd rather see the map-download getting stable and speedy :)

Some alternate playermodels/skins for humans might be an improvment but novelty items just for the hell of it? That'd turn trem into big steaming heap of sith with no end of novelty-spamming and n00bs concentrating more on those pwitty goon shoes than learning to play.

Although a goon mincing around in high heels would be a rather scary sight....

A christmas mod would be pretty sweet for the holiday season, I will admit that.

Small changes you can make to your character would be good so you could recognize individual teammates and enemies.

I am personally offended by Nosfore's crapping on Diablo 2, which is a great game!

And for the idea of custom novelty items, sunglasses and so on: i have seen this in enemy territory, germans with grinch faces, allies and axis with santa hats, grenades disguised as snowballs- it is all exeptionally useless, because some servers would just hang on to the same skins forever!

This does get extremely annoying after a while, with all year christmas servers and so on. what should be doable though, should be a customizable human, heads and so on, and maybe one should be able to choose a general skin colour for the alien models, as well as some minor features.

Aliens with clothes sounds exeptinally silly, dretches with sunglasses, goons with jumpsuits, basilisks with boots, or a marauder in a full leather-gay costume (XD). I mean, so far, the goal of the alien models, have been to make them somewhat menacing, like aliens should be.

this kind of alien and cuteness does not mix altogether.

i go more for a discreete looking tattoo, that one could edit oneselves in paint or any picture program.

this should of course only be one little bit of customizable skin, in  a premade size and shape, which should not be "messable"
