Tell us about your computer, mac or pc, or linux, but considering you're a computer noob, you wouldn't have it.

Uninstall Tremulous, including the homepath, and reinstall 1.2

Can you post the output? That is usually descriptive enough to display the error.

Hey. Run tremulous from terminal. Then copy and paste the output.

Also, how did you install Tremulous GPP? Are you using Ubuntu?

Okay. Do you have Tremulous GPP installed in /usr/share/games/tremulous? Navigate to that directory and run Tremulous through the terminal.

You need to install 1.1 before GPP. If you installed 1.1 from some repository, I recommend downloading the 1.1 .zip from tremulous.net/files instead, extracting it somewhere, and extracting the GPP .zip in the same place, so the binary files end up next to each other. Then open a terminal and type:
Code: [Select]
'/path/to/tremulous-gpp.x86'If it still doesn't work, post the Terminal output.

Nope, a beta is (mostly) feature complete.

This is just testing gameplay changes.
