Could not load opengl...
« on: April 14, 2011, 11:04:54 pm »
This error message has shown up on other people's computers. However, I got it while messing around with the queer graphics settings. I'm not sure,  but I think I made it waaaayy to high. It is not my drivers or videocard, my videocard is equal to or better than yours I am 99.99% sure. It is just some sort of glitch that happens. The way, I figure, to solve this problem is to change screen resolution OUTSIDE of the game, because you can not get on the game. I was wondering, is there a "reset to default" option or changes screen resolution outside of the game? Tried re-installing once now.

I'm assuming your on windows and 1.1, as you haven't specified otherwise.

Right click on the shortcut you use to start tremulous, click properties, and in the target box add this after whats already there:+set r_mode 6

Then when you run it should be back to 1024x768.
You'll need to edit the shortcut back to how it was if you want the in-game resolution thing to save.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.
